Our Story – The Heart Behind JR Holdings SARL

JR Holdings SARL was born from family, passion, and vision.
The name “JR” comes from our first two children — Jason and Ryan — the heart and inspiration behind everything we do. Their initials remind us that our business is more than trade; it is a family legacy built on trust, growth, and purpose.

Founded by Valerie Bossiade and Isaac Ocquaye-Allotey, JR Holdings brings together two complementary worlds: Valerie’s love for supply chain management and sustainable agriculture, and Isaac’s expertise in finance, logistics, and real estate. Together, they created a company committed to connecting Africa’s resources and opportunities with the global market.

Originally, the business operated under the name Val Inter SARL (VIS), a procurement and logistics company managed by Valerie. After years of expansion and diversification, the company evolved and was officially rebranded as JR Holdings SARL in 2021 — marking the beginning of a broader vision in international trade, sustainable development, and investment consulting.

Today, JR Holdings specializes in the export of premium West African cocoa, coffee, soybeans, and maize, while promoting sustainability, ethical partnerships, and community empowerment.

Our foundation is strengthened by strong family and business partnerships.
We proudly collaborate with Boss Approche Agriculture, founded by Mr. Koudjo Bossiade, a highly respected Togolese businessman and politician with over 30 years of experience in international import and export. His success and integrity continue to guide our business philosophy.

We also partner with TPG Transporta Ghana, led by Isaac Ocquaye-Allotey, which ensures reliable and efficient logistics operations throughout West Africa and beyond.
